HealthSPORT By the Bay is an inviting fitness center located in Old Town Eureka. The gymnasium is situated in an existing historic building and is designed to highlight the original redwood construction. The equipment layout and exercise rooms are placed to meet the functional needs while maintaining the open feel of the building. A spin/zumba room is designed to have multiple uses to fully utilize the existing space. The project includes new restrooms, locker rooms, a spin exercise room, a yoga room and a re-configuration of the mezzanine and stairs that results in an open and airy space that is popular with local professionals.
